Gorjuss The White Rabbit ~ DT creation for Sugar Nellie

Hello Everyone!

Have a happy news to share today. A while back I applied to a DT call at
Sugar Nellie Challenge Team and was accepted.
My DT term officially starts today.

I have created a shaped card as my DT project for the April Challenge
using Gorjuss stamp ~ The White Rabbit.

As usual, I water colored the image with Distress Ink pads.

I love Gorjuss Girls! Sugar Nellie Funky Kits store carries a wide range
of stamp lines including Gorjuss Girls, you can find them here.

I die cut a piece of coaster board as my card base using Tim Holtz Tick Tock Bigz Die.
I distressed the edges with TH Walnut Stain ink pads and decorated the clock
with beautiful Maja Design paper, flowers, diecuts, pearls and lace.

Paper ~ Maja Design Sofiero, Coffee in The Arbour Collection
Dies ~ Tim Holtz, Magnolia, Marianne Design, Impression Obsession

I hope my creation has inspired you and I would love to have you join in
the Sugar Nellie Challenge this month.  The rule is simple, just use a
Sugar Nellie image. The challenge theme is ~ Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Hugs,
Katie

Isobel ~ Pretty Bubbles

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

A quick post to share my new Guest DT card for Crafty Sentiments Challenge.
The challenge theme this week is ~ Anything Goes.

I used this cute mermaid image Isobel Pretty Bubbles and made a box card.

The image was water colored with Distress Inks.

The box resembles a treasure box; it can be folded flat.
To create the faux metal look, I embossed a foil sheet and polished with black paint.
I embellished the box with die cuts, bead strings, charm, pearls, shell, and dewdrops.

You can see all DT creations over at CSD Challenge Blog.
We would love to have you joining in.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely week.

Hugs,
Katie

Spring is in the air ~ Guest Design at A Vintage Journey

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are all keeping well.

I have a tag card to share with you today.
It is for a Guest DT appearance at A Vintage Journey Challenge.
The challenge theme for this fortnight is ~ Spring Is In The Air.

The image is from Dina Wakley's Scribbly Birds stamp set.
I water colored it with Distress Ink pads.

I stenciled the designer paper with TH Dot Fade stencil and texture paste.
I added some TH tissue tapes and remnant rub-on.

Next, I inked the raised side of a TH Wood Grain embossing folder and
ran a piece of designer paper and the folder through my Big Shot machine.
The ink made the embossed wood grain look more pronounced.

I distressed all paper edges, added some TH die cuts and chitchat words.
I finished embellishing the card with some pearls, metal charm, lace and ribbons.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!

Hugs,
Katie

Fridge Post-It-Note Caddy for a Fabulous Friend

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are all doing well wherever you are.

I have a Guest DT creation for Crafty Sentiments Challenge
to share with you today.
Our challenge theme this week is "Lace and/or Pearls".

The image I used is called "Cookie" ~ a new release from Crafty Sentiments.
I have made a dog house for Cookie and transformed it
into a fridge post-it-note caddy.

The image is colored with Distress Ink pads.
I must admit I am not very good at coloring animals;
I hope to improve with more practice.

Designer Paper ~ Maja Design Vintage Summer Collection
Dies & Punches ~ Cottage Cutz, Impression Obsession, Magnolia,
Martha Stewart, Stampin'Up

This fridge post-it-note caddy is going to a
co-worker who retired recently.

Hope my creation inspired you to create something with lace
and/or pearls and join in our challenge this week
at Crafty Sentiments Challenge.

Have a lovely day!

Hugs,
Katie

Easter/Spring Greeting

Happy Easter/Spring Everyone!

Popping in to share a knitted bunny with you.
I have made it for a friend's friend who had a new baby boy recently.

The basic bunny was knitted in Cascade Ultra Prima Cotton.
The Nordic sweater is done in Drops Alpaca and
the pants and boots in Cascade 220 wool.
I have knitted a matching school bag for the bunny.

You can find the bunny and sweater patterns at Little Cotton Rabbits.

Thanks for looking.

Have a lovely Easter Weekend!!!

Hugs,
Katie
