Tilda's Coffee Mug Cozy- DT Creation for Marvelous Magnolia

Hello Everyone!

Today we begin a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia.
The challenge theme is Anything But A Card,
sponsored by
Magnolia-licious and The Ribbon Girl.

So, guess what I came up with?

I bought myself a Christmas present a couple of weeks ago,
a new coffee mug from Starbucks.
This ceramic mug is white and fairly plain, and I could just hear
it calling out to me to dress it up for the holiday :^).

Since I discovered the joy of TAP paper recently,

I could not help myself making another fabric project.

I stamped the images on TAP paper and colored them with Copics.

I then ironed the images on fabric.

I machine stitched the mug cozies with laces and ribbons,

and added fabric glitters and pearls here and there.

The cozies are lined with felts to give extra insulation. 

These mug cozies are washable and easily fit in the purse.

They keep your hand from burning and keep your coffee or tea warm.

I think I will make a few more for different seasons.
